And he did.
He continues to prophesy through his writings in the Book of Revelation.

book sealed with seven seals.

The book had writing on the inside and outside. However, the seals sealed the words within and covered the writing on the outside.
As each seal is opened, the information it covered
on the outside of the book becomes visible.
Each seal's opening reveals key themes and elements of the book, much like a table of contents.
The seals are not actual events.
A white horse appears! Its rider is the Spirit of God. He wears a crown, holds a bow in His hand, and is declared a conqueror.
A red horse appears! Its rider ensures wars and rumors of wars. He is a conquering angelic being.

A black horse appears! Its rider carries a pair of balances. This angelic being brings famine and inflation upon the land.
Seal 3
A pale horse appears! Its rider is Death, and Hell follows behind him. He is responsible for bringing destruction and death to the earth supernaturally.
